We will investigate maternal and child health from a multidisciplinary social justice perspective. This course then explores the developmental, demographic, epidemiological, economic, political, behavioral, and social characteristics unique to the health and their impact on the well-being of women, children, and families. This course provides insights into leadership and advocacy issues of greatest importance to Maternal and Child Health experts.
