Tarun Sharma

Prof. Tarun Sharma is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, one of the oldest technical institutions in Asia engaged in conducting research and providing education mainly through engineering, sciences, and business degree programs. Prof. Tarun is an experienced Post doctoral Researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the energy sector in international multi-disciplinary teams. He earned his doctoral degree in energy sustainability, applied operations research, decision support systems, and power systems from the India Institute of Science (IISc). In addition to his teaching at IIT Roorkee, Prof Tarun has worked at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Institute of Rural Management Anand, Gujarat.
