Shane Dixon

I am the academic lead/director of small and large programs here at Global Launch. One recent training program, Project 100,000 Strong, is a presidential initiative signed by President Barack Obama that brought thousands of students to the United States, with the largest cohort (over 500 students) to Arizona State. These students were given English-capacity training and were given skills that could translate to the workplace and academic communities throughout Mexico.
Another training program, from The Peruvian Ministry of Education, sent 235 English teachers to ASU for improved English and English teaching skills. This was the largest single group of teachers for teacher training ever sent by Peru to any one locale. ASU is a leader in recognizing that scale and quality are not mutually exclusive terms.
