Ruan Scheepers
Ruan is a driven individual who’s teaching and training ranges across several fields of dentistry. He holds a Bachelor of Dental Sciences degree from the University of Witwatersrand and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Aesthetic Dentistry from the University of Pretoria. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree where his research focuses on aggravating factors of oro-facial sepsis.
Ruan currently works in the department of Paediatric and Restorative Dentistry in the School of Oral Health Sciences at Wits University (South Africa) and coordinates endodontic courses in the 3rd and 4th year of study of the BDS degree. He also contributes to the preclinical and clinical training of students in the disciplines Paedodontics, Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry. He is also a member of the problem based learning team facilitating student engagement during learning sessions.
