Rebecca Weeks Watson

Rebecca Weeks Watson is an adjunct professor at Davidson College’s Hurt Hub for Innovation and the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. She has valuable experience from every type of perspective related to startups: founder, cofounder, angel investor and advisor. Over the course of 16 years based in Silicon Valley, Rebecca was on the founding teams and led Business Development departments of digital media and marketing startups, one acquired by Meredith Corporation and one by Taptica. She was awarded two U.S. technology patents and has been a speaker at more than 50 conferences. In addition to innovating and educating, Rebecca finds joy in inspiring others. The first-of-its-kind interview series she founded, called The Reveal, features high-profile business leaders sharing how they turned personal challenges into professional success.
