Monika Avello

Monika (Moni) Avello is a Digital Learning Lab Fellow in the Department of Biology. She completed her Ph.D. with her project entitled “Characterization of an exclusion mechanism in an integrative and conjugative element in Bacillus subtilis" in the Grossman lab at MIT. Moni is just starting as a core member of the MITx Biology course development team.
