Martin Timmerman




Martin obtained a Engineering Master in Telecommunications at the Royal Military Academy Brussels in 1975 and a PhD in applied science at the University Gent in 1982. He is active in the domain of embedded systems since 1980 and created Dedicated Systems to support the embedded systems' community for testing real-time operating systems. Today he focusses on testing virutalisation solutions in both business and embedded systems and develops OS concept in the framework of swarm robotics.

This course will teach you how to develop an embedded systems device. In order to reduce the time to market, many pre-made hardware and software components are available today. You'll discover all the available hardware and software components, such as processor families, operating systems, boards and networks.
