Liang-da Chiu

Liang-da received his B.Sc. in life science from National Taiwan University, M.Sc. in molecular nano-biophotonics from École Normale Supérieure de Cachan, and D. Sc. in chemistry from the University of Tokyo. Afterwards, he did his postdoctoral work at Osaka University then came back to UTokyo for his current position. His research interest lies in the development of label-free bio-analytical techniques, with a focus on the design and application of novel Raman spectroscopic methods to study biological phenomena in living specimen.
