Amy Scott

Dr Scott is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow and Project Manager to the Successful Literacy and Learning theme of the ‘A Better Start: E Tipu e Rea’ project as part of the National Science Challenge.
Her research interests focus on children's early literacy and language development, and supporting teachers' and whānau to provide optimal environments to facilitate this development.
Dr Scott holds degrees in Psychology and Speech and Language Therapy with Honours from the University of Canterbury, and has experience working with a diverse range of populations including young children, adolescents, and children with Special Needs.
