Amos Paran

My main interests are the teaching of reading in a second and foreign language and the use of literature in second language learning. In both areas my interest encompasses research and teaching. I have done research into reading classrooms and reading processes, and have also written reading comprehension textbooks for teenagers. I am currently researching the way in which literature is taught and used in second and foreign languages, and have also published resource materials for teachers who want to explore incorporating literature into their classrooms.
