You will learn: What (basic) tools you need; How to add a solid foundation layer; The important role of adding contrast; Painting with knives - create cool wave effects with one stroke; Highlighting using 100% white paint, and so much more!

For the class project, I would LOVE to see you painting from this class uploaded to the class projects. The goal is to have fun and to discover how relaxing it can be to just pick up a brush and paint. We're not looking to make anything perfect, we're looking to create something unique.
Put up a canvas and try it out! If you don't have a canvas, you can use some thicker paper for now, it works OK to start with.
