Matty Janssen

Matty Janssen’s research focuses on environmental assessment of technologies for production of biofuels, bio-based chemicals and bio-based materials, at early stages of development. He uses life cycle assessment (LCA) to help guide the development of these technologies, and to evaluate environmental impact of the products produced. Before joining Chalmers university of technology, Matty was a post-doctoral fellow at École Polytechnique de Montréal where he also received his PhD degree in chemical engineering.
