Luisa Zanforlin

Luisa Zanforlin is a Lead Financial Sector Specialist at the World Bank. Until recently, she was a Senior Economist at the IMF’s Institute for Capacity Development, which she joined in 2012. Luisa holds a Ph.D. from the European University Institute in Florence. She joined the IMF in 1995 and has worked in the European Department and the Monetary and Capital Markets Department. Luisa has done extensive work in the area of international economics and finance, and has done related work in several countries around the world, including Iceland, Italy, Greece, Mexico, Portugal, and Romania. Luisa is a national of Italy.
