Ian Hawke

I am a lecturer in the Applied Mathematics department of the School of Mathematics at the University of Southampton. From 2004 to 2005 I was a PPARC research fellow based here at Southampton.
Prior to arriving at Southampton I was a postdoctoral researcher in the numerical relativity group at the Albert Einstein Institut in Potsdam. My PhD is from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Dr. John Stewart.
