Christina Hunn

Christina Hunn is leading the Global Entrepreneurship Summer School (GESS), a program of the Social Entrepreneurship Akademie organized in cooperation with six university-based entrepreneurship centers in Munich (LMU, TUM, MUAS), Mexico City (Tecnológico de Monterrey), Shanghai (Tongji University) and Cape Town (LifeCo UnLtd South Africa). Since 2014, she has also been responsible for the European short-term education program on social entrepreneurship called SEA:start which is targeted towards university students and young professionals. Before her activity at the Social Entrepreneurship Akademie, she worked with Nobel Peace Price Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus in Colombia. For two years she led the strategic design and implementation of the incubation center of Grameen Caldas (today Yunus Social Business Colombia), which aims to eradicate poverty through the development of social businesses. Christina studied Business Administration and Economics at the University of Passau and the PSG Institute of Management in India after working one year for a local non-profit organization in Argentina where she learned about the need for entrepreneurial models to make sustainable change.
