Bidisha Das

Bidisha Das is an Economist at the Financial Institutions Division of the IMF’s Statistics Department. She joined the IMF in 2018, specializing in financial sector statistics, with a focus on monetary statistics, financial soundness indicators and securities statistics. She provides capacity development and training to member countries to help compile financial sector data that support macro-financial surveillance, financial stability, and analysis of financial inclusion. Bidisha also contributes to the development of international statistical guidance and methodology including on emerging topics like FinTech and digital money.
