Stuart Gilmour

Stuart Gilmour is an Associate Professor at the Department of Global Health Policy in the University of Tokyo. He graduated with a degree in mathematical physics from the University of Adelaide, Australia before pursuing postgraduate studies in public health and statistics. Stuart has worked in public health and health policy research in Australia, the UK and Japan. He joined the University of Tokyo in 2011, and has been active in research into the health impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake since then. His research interests also include monitoring progress to universal health coverage, aging and non-communicable diseases.
