Sophie Karanicolas

Sophie Karanicolas is the Assistant Dean for Learning and Teaching in the School of Dentistry at the University of Adelaide. She is the coordinator of first year Human Biology in the Bachelor of Oral Health. Sophie’s teaching success has been recognised via an OLT Award for Teaching Excellence in 2013, University of Adelaide Vice Chancellor’s Medal for Excellence in Education and the Stephen Cole the Elder Award in 2011, an Australian Learning and Teaching Council Citation in 2010, and several Vocational Education and Training teaching awards including the TAFESA Gold Medal Award in 2004.
