Shijia is a Consultant of Paediatric dentistry at the National University Centre for Oral Health Singapore. He received his B.D.S at the National University of Singapore in 2008, his Certificate in Pediatric dentistry and Ph.D. in Oral Biology from the University of North Carolina in 2014 and 2016, respectively. He is board certified by both the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the Dental Specialist Accreditation Board (Singapore).
