Shafi Buiyan

Dr. Bhuiyan is an Asst. Professor of clinical public health at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto and is also a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at Ryerson University. He teaches an international health development graduate course at UofT and is supporting development of a global health education and research platform at Ryerson. His research interests include improving women’s and their families’ access to health services in developing countries, health system strengthening, and maternal, neonatal, and child health. He is the Death 101 epidemiologist.
