S N Jayasri Lalitha

Ms S N jayasri Llaitha is an alumna of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, having obtained her master’s degree in chemistry from the premier institution in 1986.
She is a senior banker with over 29 years of experience in the State Bank of India. She is at present member of faculty at the State Bank Institute of Innovation and Technology, an Apex institute of the SBI for imparting training on Banking Technology.
In her long career, Ms. Jayasri has worked in various capacities in General Banking, especially Retail Banking. She had headed three such retail intensive branches. She had been a Project Officer involved in the migration of branches from a manual banking system to full branch computerization. Later when the Bank moved to Core Banking System, she was associated with the implementation of CBS as well. Thus, she is well versed with the challenges faced in the adoption of technology by banks.
