Rob Slaughter

Dr. Rob Slaughter is an Air Force veteran and the CEO of Defense Unicorns. He has helped lead dozens of commercial and government organizations through their digital revolution, including as the former co-founder and Director of the Department of Defense’s DevSecOps platform team, Platform One, the DevOps lead for National Space Defense Center, and the Air Force’s AFWERX innovation unit. What started out as a love for physics grew into a love for software and how software interacts with people. He believes that digital revolutions start with people, grows into culture, transforms processes, and then lastly adopts technology. He currently supports the Center for medicaid and medicare’s BatCAVE platform team and the Department of the Navy’s Project Blue software factory.
