Prabhat Jha

Prof. Jha is the founding director of the Centre for Global Health Research (CGHR) at St. Michael’s Hospital, and University of Toronto Endowed Professor in Disease Control. He is an Officer of the Order of Canada and holds an M.D. from the University of Manitoba and a D.Phil. from Oxford University, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar. His friends have described him as being professionally obsessed with death.
