Mike Richards

Drs. Michael Richards (born 1976) is a native of Arizona, USA with more than 20 years of experience in the field of Catholic education, including work as a teacher, school administrator, and national program director for schools serving low-income / high-potential communities. He holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Theology and Religion from KU Leuven and a Master of Arts in Religion and Education from Fordham University in New York (2004) as well as various other certificates in Catholic education. Currently he is working as a research assistant with the Enhancing Catholic School Identity (ECSI) project. Michael’s areas of focus include identity in Catholic institutions, religious education practices, theology and pedagogy in Catholic schools, leadership development and teacher training. The promotor of his PhD is Prof. dr. Didier Pollefeyt.
