Merel Witteman

As a master student of Environmental Sciences with a specialisation in Environmental Technology, Merel Witteman explores the potential of nature-based solutions to create an abundant world for humans and all other living beings. She believes that by working wíth nature, balance can be brought back to (eco)systems that are currently under pressure and about to reach tipping points. Whether it is creating the Worlds’ first Snackforest or bringing eco-principles to Rotterdams’ allotment gardens, Merel has a hands-on approach to show people that rewilding is not only necessary, but also FUN.
