Margot Olbertz

Margot Olbertz, M.Sc. (w) is a landscape architect trained at the University of Applied Science Osnabrück and Technical University Berlin (DE) (2012-2018). She started her professional career as a research associate at the Technical University Berlin, Department of Landscape Architecture.Open Space Planning in the project “Rapid Planning” (2014-2019), funded under the umbrella of the Future Megacities Research Program of the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) in cities of the global South. Currently, she holds a research and teaching position at RWTH Aachen University at the Institute of Landscape Architecture as part of the H2020 IA project proGIreg. Her research focuses on transdisciplinary transformation processes to harness the benefits of productive urban/regional green infrastructure and circular urban food systems.
