Jörg Schmidt

With a main interest in Corporate Responsibility along global supply chains, including aspects of Business and Human Rights, I am active in applied research, teaching and consulting for companies and other organizations.
Jörg Schmidt has studied biology, forestry and agricultural sciences at the Georg-August University Göttingen, Germany, and graduated with a Master’s degree in Biology. He holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from ETH Zurich, Switzerland and later conducted further education in Sustainability Management at Leuphana University Lüneburg, Germany.
Jörg Schmidt has professional experience as a researcher, project manager and lecturer in ecology, environmental sciences, sustainable development and corporate responsibility in consulting, academic and regulatory institutions in various countries.
