Indre Augutiene

Indre Augutiene holds a master’s degree in public administration from Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas. Youth work and non-formal education are in the roots of her professional career when she became an active member of the University Students’ Council in 2001.
Indre works in the field of global education since 2008. This educational concept became a huge passion of her life, therefore, in 2014, she opened an NGO Global Citizens’ Academy which aims to promote the values of global citizenship in Lithuania and beyond.
Indre has been a part of a number of international projects meant for the promotion of global education in both formal and non-formal education. She is also a co-author of several educational publications on global learning. She provides trainings at national and international levels for young people, youth workers and educators related to global education and Sustainable Development Goals.
