Geert van der Meulen

Geert van der Meulen has been a researcher at the Chair of Urban Design, Theory and Methods of the Department of Urbanism at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at Delft University of Technology since 2018.
Before, Geert completed his master at the Water Management department of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences with an interdisciplinary project focusing on transitional flood risk management anticipating to extreme future sea level rise scenarios in close collaboration with UNESCO-IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment and the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management. Geert has an interest for the field of climate change adaptation which was originally sparked by interdisciplinary projects on urban water management, collaborating with designers, planners, policy makers and engineers.
