Deepti Ganapathy

Deepti Ganapathy is a member of the faculty at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. She is the Chair of the Centre for Management Communication. A Computer Science graduate, she received her Ph.D. in Mass Communication and Journalism from University of Mysore in 2016. A former Award-winning journalist, she has covered health issues and is an Expert Committee member of WHO’s Infodemic Management group. Her research interests include climate communication, sustainability, Health, and Political Communication.
An affiliate faculty at the Centre for Climate Change Communication, George Mason University, and a former Visiting Scholar to UC San Diego, she is currently involved in a cross-national research study to understand the impact of Climate Change on Health.
