Carlos Delgado Kloos

 

 


 

Carlos Delgado Kloos received the PhD degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich and in Telecommunications Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid. He is Full Professor at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where he is Director of the UNESCO Chair on “Scalable Digital Education for All” and Vice-Rector for Infrastructures and Environment. He introduced the teaching of Java at his University in 1997. His research interests focus around Technology-Enhanced Learning.

This course is designed taking into account the subset and recommendations of the College Board in order to prepare learners for the Advanced Placement (AP) Computer Science A exam. The course is divided in three parts of five weeks each.

Learn to program with Java in an easy and interactive way! This is an introductory course to learn programming with Java. It is comprised of three parts, of which Part 1 introduces programming on the basis of familiar concepts, like calculators and games. This edition is an improved version of the course released in April 2015.
