Arend de Haas

Arend de Haas is a conservation ecologist with over 20 years of experience with ecosystem conservation and restoration, ecotourism and sustainable community development.
His research and field experience include protected area development, wildlife ecology, community-based conservation, capacity building, GIS and remote sensing, wildlife tracking, biodiversity and vegetation mapping in Africa, Asia and Europe.
Arend coordinates curricula development and establishing partnerships with training institutions and other organisations providing learning experiences.
