Alberto Reyes

Alberto Reyes is senior counsel at Guzmán Ariza. He is the former Vice-Minister of Hydrocarbons at the Ministry of Energy and Mines of the Dominican Republic. He also created and directed the Extractive Industry Supervision Bureau, which coordinates the activities of the Ministry of Finance, Internal Tax Directorate, General Customs Directorate and the Central Bank, in matters of control of extractive activities in the country. Prior to his appointment to government, Mr. Reyes served as Legal Director of an oil distribution mayor in the Dominican Republic, and prior to that served as an attorney at the corporate department of an energy generation conglomerate.
