BGI

The BGI is a new UK non-profit agency that educates the public about the art, science, history and technology of games. It runs a range of educational programmes and facilities such as the National Videogame Museum in Sheffield; its archive of videogames heritage in Nottingham; training programmes such as its after-school club Pixelheads, career preparation for those starting careers in games development and continuing professional development for games start-ups and studios; research into games culture and education; and events such as the Games Education Summit, amongst other initiatives.
