Tom Grothous

Tom has taught at the University of Northwestern Ohio for over 35 years where he now serves as the Academic Dean in the College of Applied Technologies. He is a Master Certified Auto Technician, a Master Certified Diesel Technician, and an Auto and Truck Parts Specialist for ASE. Tom earned his Bachelor of Vocational Education degree from the University of Toledo and his Associate of Applied Business degree from Northwestern College. Tom (a.k.a. Mr. Wheels) is a syndicated host of a Radio Talk Show “Mr. Wheels” on-air live on Saturday mornings and on the web. He also belongs to many civic and career organizations. He and his wife Jackie have been married for 43 years and are the parents of two daughters and the proud grandparents of five.
