Sharyn Cobbin

Sharyn Cobbin’s current role at the Minerals Industry Safety and Health Centre involves on-line education, delivering training and project work.
Sharyn has over 17 years’ experience in health and safety including the development and delivery of health and safety training courses, working primarily within the mining industry and the quarry industry past 3 years. Previously, Sharyn worked for Heidelberg Cement as the Aggregates Manager - APAC. Delivering training in Australia, Malaysia and Indonesia. Other roles have included Health and Safety Manager, Training Manager and Learning and Development Manager. She has a MBA and tertiary qualifications in the field of health and safety, risk management and training.
Sharyn regularly engages with people from the mining industry, including mining companies, regulatory agencies, and peak mining and non-mining bodies.
