Progyan Basu

Professor Basu has over 25 years of teaching a variety of Accounting courses and seminars in the US and abroad at different levels. At Smith School of Business, he teaches Financial and Managerial Accounting at the undergraduate, MBA, and EMBA levels. He has received several awards and distinctions for teaching excellence, including the Krowe Teaching Excellence Award, Distinguished Teaching Award, and Undergraduate Studies Faculty Fellowship. He serves as a Faculty Director for the PTMBA and EMBA program, as well as a Faculty Champion for the Undergraduate Accounting Teaching Scholars program.
