Philip De Man

Philip De Man is a senior researcher at the Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies at the University of Leuven. His lectures focus on space law i.e. he teaches ‘space law & policy’, ‘advanced topics of space law & policy’, ‘space organizations’, and ‘introduction to law & space’ at the Master of Space Studies at the University of Leuven.
He holds a Master of Laws from the University of Antwerp. After obtaining his Master, he performed an internship with the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the United Nations in New York as Advisor on Development issues in the Second Committee of the General Assembly and interned with the Association of Defence Counsel practicing before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Later, he was employed as Legal Researchers with the Srebrenica Historical Project.
