Phil Chaffe

Phil Chaffé worked in a number of schools and universities before his current role as one of the national coordinators of the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme, a UK government funded national initiative that promotes the study of Mathematics at all levels post 16. Phil coordinates a number of projects across England that prepare students for study at top universities. Many of these focus on developing students’ problem solving skills so they are able to apply for university degrees that require additional admissions examinations. Phil is a popular speaker on the enrichment and masterclass circuit, delivering talks on the mathematics of evolutionary biology, mathematics and music, and how to live in a recursive universe.
