Peter Watson

Dr. Peter Watson is Professor of Pathology at the British Columbia Cancer Agency and the Director of the University of British Columbia (UBC) Office of Biobank Education and Research (OBER). He trained in Medicine at Cambridge University UK and Pathology at the University of Manitoba Canada. For more than 25 years he has combined a clinical practice as a breast pathologist with research interests in the molecular pathology of breast cancer, and in the discipline of biobanking. He leads the Canadian Tissue Repository Network and is deputy editor for the official journal of the International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories (ISBER) Biopreservation and Biobanking.
