Paul-Olivier Dehaye

Paul-Olivier is a mathematician, working mostly in algebraic combinatorics and random matrices. His work is often motivated by analytic number theory.
Since September 2012, he's SNSF Professor at the Institut für Mathematik of the Universität Zürich. The Swiss National Science Foundation is sponsoring his project Combinatorics of partitions and number theoretic aspects. Other participants under this project are Reda Chhaibi and Patrick Kühn, Helen Riedtmann and Huan Xiong.
From 2008 to 2012, he was Heinz Hopf Lecturer in the Mathematics department at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich. From 2006 to 2008, he was a Junior Research Fellow at Merton College, University of Oxford. In 2006, he visited IHES for two months. He obtained his Ph.D. from Stanford University, working under the supervision of Prof. Dan Bump.
In a more distant past, he did his undergraduate studies at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, after successfully escaping from the Athénée Robert Catteau, both in Brussels, Belgium.
He is involved in the L-functions and Modular forms database, also known as the LMFDB collaboration.
