Margo Mountjoy

Margo is a Clinical Professor in the Faculty of Family Medicine in the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, McMaster University where she teaches sport medicine. Margo is the Canadian team physician for Synchro Canada, and a member of the Fédération Internationale de Natation (FINA: International Aquatics Federation) Executive Board. She is also a member of several IOC medical-related committees, and several international anti-doping agencies. Margo is the lead author on the IOC Concensus paper on Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport, and the editor of the IOC Handbook on the Female Athlete.
