Machiko Narita

Machiko Narita is an Economist in the Asian Division of the IMF's Institute for Capacity Development, which she joined in 2013. Previously, Machiko worked in the Fund’s Western Hemisphere Department. She obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in 2011, specializing in macroeconomics and financial economics, including consumption, housing, and business cycles. Machiko is a national of Japan.
