Jan Olek

Olek is James H. and Carol H. Cure Professor of Civil Engineering at the Lyles School of Civil Engineering at Purdue University. He has extensive teaching and research experience in areas of properties characterization of cementitious materials as well as durability and performance of concrete. Recent research activities include evaluation of suitability of non-traditional pozzolanic materials for use in concrete, characterization of reaction mechanisms and durability of non-hydraulic binders and development of mixtures for 3D printing applications.
