James Knight

James Knight is a Senior Financial Sector Expert in the Debt Capital Markets division, Monetary and Capital Markets department, of the IMF. Prior to joining the IMF in 2017, he was Head of Investor Research at the UK Debt Management Office (DMO), where he worked for over 15 years in policy and research.
A specialist in fixed income, including inflation-indexed bonds and Islamic finance, James is a graduate of the University of Bath with a BSc in Economics & Politics. In 2006 he received an MSc in Economics from Birkbeck College, University of London. He is a CFA Charterholder and a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.
