Ms. Collins has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Prairie View A&M University and a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University. She has been involved with online course facilitation for 20+ years in both Industry and Education sectors. She was an Online Adjunct Instructor for South Carolina's Department of Education from 2011-2013 and delivered graduate level courses for University of Charleston. She has designed online courses using Moodle, Blackboard, Meridian, and Canvas learning management systems. She is currently the Robotics/Sixth Grade Science Teacher at Southeast Middle School in Hopkins, South Carolina. She is an active member on a STEM/STEAM leadership team serving a cluster of students ranging from elementary to high school grade levels.
Ms. Collins is also an Instructor/Consultant for Innovista® Learning and she specializes in blended learning using graphics applications and creative cloud-based apps. Ms. Collins was also selected to be the Richland County School District One (RCSD1) Tech Savvy Teacher of the Year, 2014-2015. She is a native Houstonian.
