Eva Tschanter

Eva Tschanter is a Lecturer in Social Work at Charles Darwin University, Northern Territory, Australia. She has worked as a child protection caseworker, specialist and trainer for the Department of Family and Community Services in New South Wales, Australia. She has also has had extensive experience in workplace training and assessment in the area of child protection, intensive family support services and community sector management developing education resources to support front line practitioners. She has made contributions to the development of community sector staff in delivering the specialist vocational qualifications promoting education and career pathways for practitioners into leadership. Her practice background also encompasses a role as a specialist family consultant in family law settings. Since moving to the Northern Territory Australia in 2013 she gained experience a treatment clinician services in a corrections setting and has contributed to the resource development in the area of domestic and family violence policy reform in New South Wales, Australia. She continues to teach as a lecturer in social work in the areas of applied social work and working with children and families.
