Euigene A. Mityushov

Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of Academic Department of Theoretical Mechanics at Ural Federal University (Ekaterinburg, Russia). Euigene has been engaged in education and science in the university for 45 years. He developed tensor methods in exploring physical and mechanical properties of texturized polycrystals and composite materials. He obtained geometrical characteristics of the material, i.e. textural parameters enabling to introduce the experimental information about the material texture into phenomenological models of mechanics. He has been a supervisor of 6 Candidate’s dissertations, and written more than 200 published works, including 3 monographs and 3 textbooks.
