Dr. Dicky Ng is a STaR (Service, Teaching, and Research) Fellow for Early Career Mathematics Educators. He received an EdD from Boston University in Curriculum and Teaching, specializing in mathematics education. His research interests encompass the study of teacher’s mathematical knowledge for teaching from a cultural perspective, and cross-national comparative study in mathematics curriculum. He has extensive experience in developing and conducting professional development focusing on mathematics knowledge for teaching for K-12 mathematics teachers. He has taught secondary mathematics in Indonesia and the United States, and is familiar with a wide range of curriculum materials such as from Indonesia, Singapore, Australia (New South Wales Higher School Certificate program) and the Advanced Placement Calculus program in the U.S.
