Dennis Tay

Dennis Tay is Associate Professor and Associate Head of the Department of English and Communication, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has a PhD/MA in Linguistics and MSc in Quantitative Analysis and Computational Mathematics, and has held academic positions in New Zealand, Singapore, and Hong Kong. His research interests include metaphor theory, language use in psychotherapy, and statistical modelling of discourse.
